W.W. Fairbairn & Sons, Inc. has been servicing local cottages for as long as we can remember.
The opening and closing of cottages in Northern Michigan is no easy feat, but it’s one of the most rewarding parts of our business. Some of our customers have been with us for four generations, which is incredible. In addition, several of the homes we have the honor to service are pieces of history in themselves.
Each Fall and Spring, we service over 450 customers second homes in just a couple months!

Samantha Fairbairn
Samantha is W.W. Fairbairn & Sons, Inc. 5th generation owner and Vice President. Sam has been working at Fairbairns full time since 2016 but has also dabbled in seasonal employment since 2008. Sam went to college at Florida State University graduating with a degree in Biological Science, and originally planned for her future to be in Marine Science, specifically with marine mammals. Things took a different turn for her in 2016 when she decided to come work for her dad and make Plumbing and Heating her new future. Since then, she’s been learning from the ground up. Sam is working towards her Journey Plumber license and currently manages Fairbairns Websites, Facebook Pages, all Marketing aspects, and other numerous business operations.
