Tom Fairbairn Sr
Although Tom Sr. handed the day to day operation of the company over to Tom Jr., he remains active in the business. His vision, along with Tom Jr’s., has allowed W.W. Fairbairn & Sons to continue the dream of the Fairbairn family and develop into a progressive company serving all of Northern Michigan. Hardly a day goes by that Tom doesn’t stop by the store, helping out wherever needed. Tom Sr. enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is also an active member of his church and community.
Tom Fairbairn, Jr.
After graduating college, Tommy came to work for the company. Starting as an apprentice, he has learned the industry inside and out. He has taken over the day to day operations of the company, and also manages the Plumbing department. Tommy and Scott work closely together, coordinating the work crews to meet project deadlines. Tommy is very active in the community and enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife and daughter. He is also an avid sports and Stock Outboard Boat Racing fan. Go Fairbairn Racing and 44M!
Samantha Fairbairn
Samantha attended Petoskey High School graduating in 2011. After High School, Sam went all the way down to Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated in 2015 with a Biology Major and Chemistry Minor specializing in Marine Biology. Following a 6 month internship in the Florida Keys researching Bottlenose Dolphins, Sam moved back to Michigan and came to work for the company. She is now following in her father’s footsteps beginning with her apprenticeship working towards her Journeymen’s certification and learning the industry. Sam spends her free time working outside in her vegetable or flower gardens and with her family. She also enjoys working on her race boats and attending boat races, especially the Top O’ Michigan Marathon Nationals, with her father in the summer.
Scott Mallory
Scott has been employed with our company for over 30 years. Beginning as a service technician, Scott has earned his position of Manager of the Heating and Cooling department. He is a dedicated employee who is never too busy to assist a customer, even though he has a full schedule. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He is also active in the community.
Steve Rick
Steve Rick is our Service Department Manager. His extensive knowledge of HVAC technologies is representative of all of our service technicians. He has been a member of our staff for over 25 years and is dedicated to Customer Service. Steve enjoys hunting and spending time with his wife and children.
Paul Chaney
Paul is our Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager. Paul is responsible for ordering all product for our service and installation technicians. Paul also assists customers in selecting fixtures for their projects. Paul spends his leisure time with his wife and children.
Robin Drier
Robin is our Head Accountant, System Administrator, and Office Manager. She oversees the day to day operations of the Accounting, Human Resources, and Information Technology departments. She keeps our network and computers running smoothly. Robin enjoys spending her leisure time with her children, and her dog Marco. Additionally, she volunteers her time supporting the local Hillside Gardens and Historical Society.
